White porcelain chrysanthemum
Transparent white that reminds us of the origins of Arita, where Japan's first white porcelain was fired. ``Kikuwari'' is a beautiful piece of white porcelain that is pleated and shaped like chrysanthemum petals, and is an extremely simple and elegant design. In China, chrysanthemums, along with plums, orchids, and bamboo, are called the "Four Gentlemen," and have long been considered symbols of nobility. It has also been widely used as a theme for Japanese tableware. It is an accommodating vessel that harmonizes with various patterns and different materials, and is suitable for both Japanese and Western styles, formality and everyday life.
