*Outlet products are always sold at our directly managed store in Arita Town, Saga Prefecture.

The Shobido main store official online shop sells outlet products only during events.

Our outlet products can be broadly divided into products that fall under one or more of the following three reasons.

①Discontinued products, long-term stock products, sample products, products with different specifications

②Products that did not pass our inspection due to defects in appearance ③Products that did not pass our inspection due to defects in shape

① [Discontinued products, sample products, products with different specifications]

Discontinued products whose production has ended, products produced in small batches as prototypes, and products with some specifications (designs, etc.) different from regular products.

② [Products that did not pass our inspection due to cosmetic defects]

・Small holes (pinholes) on the surface
A small hole, like the tip of a needle.
It is created when air, moisture, and impurities repel the glaze.
The hole is very small and shallow, so this hole does not lead to damage.

・Black or brown dots (iron powder)
The iron contained in the pottery stone is exposed, causing black dots that look like moles.

・Damages This product has scratches caused during transportation or stacking on shelves.
Scratches will not lead to damage.

・Difficulties with the painted part.There are paint splatters, stains, peeling, rubbing, and the transfer (print) part is twisted or cut.

・Uneven glaze <br>Unevenness occurred when applying the glaze.

・No Kisen mark, or the orientation or size is different.
These are Koisen brand products, but the products do not have the Koisen mark in the inscription, or the size and orientation of the Koisen mark is different from regular products.

③ [Products that did not pass our inspection due to defects in shape]

・Chips on the elevated parts <br>Products with chips on the elevated parts.
We only sell products that can be used without any possibility of damage spreading from the chipped part.

・Distortion and rattling This is caused by uneven shrinkage during the shrinking process of the dough during baking.

For the reasons mentioned above, we sell products that have become outlet products at a discount from the regular price.

[About products with more problems]

Some of our products are even more difficult than our outlet product standards and are sold at bargain prices.

For such products, we will indicate this in the product description.

・Gift wrapping is not allowed . Outlet items will be packaged with cushioning material and delivered in a cardboard box for shipping to prevent damage during transportation.
A gift box or wooden box is not included.

・We cannot respond to individual inquiries regarding areas with problems.
