The ``iroe'' technique, which was born about 30 years after the creation of Arita ware, brought color to the world of Arita ware, which until then had consisted of white and indigo. One of the patterns that represents this color painting is the ``plum and chrysanthemum pattern''. The auspicious patterns of plums and chrysanthemums are delicately expressed in vivid colors while leaving blank spaces on the white background. The design that became the model is a symmetrical design that is thought to have been created for export, at a time when many compositions were asymmetrical. It is a pattern that still feels fresh even today.

About product photos
The product page of our online shop shows multiple photos, but the content of the product delivered to the customer is the one shown in the first photo.
